Fiorentina expect Manchester City to complete the signing of Stevan Jovetic on Friday.

Sky Italia says there was nothing sinister in the postponement of a scheduled meeting yesterday between Jovetic's agent and City officials.

The striker's agent will be in England later tonight or tomorrow morning to meet with City directors and finalise terms.

Negotiations between the two clubs are expected to be concluded today.
