Fiorentina coach Delio Rossi has paid tribute to Bologna striker Marco di Vaio.

The Viola face Bologna later this week.

"[Marco] Di Vaio? He is a player I know well, having coached him. He has had a great career, is the classic striker who is deeply loved. His greatness is measured by the fact that he has returned to play several times," said Rossi.
