Fiorentina coach Rossi defends underfire Vargas
Fiorentina coach Delio Rossi has defended underfire wing-back Juan Manuel Vargas.
Fiorentina are going through a difficult campaign and Vargas received a great deal of criticism for his weight gain and poor form. This week even general manager Sandro Mencucci referred to him as ‘lazy.’
“I don’t think Vargas is lazy,” assured the Coach. “We are trying to get him back to his best so we can rediscover the Vargas we all know, but it could take a while.
