Fiorentina coach Prandelli thrilled with Osvaldo scoring debut

Fiorentina coach Cesare Prandelli was thrilled with the debut brace for Pablo Daniel Osvaldo in last night's 3-0 victory at Livorno.

The 21-year-old Argentine was picked to replace the injured Adrian Mutu, who up until now has been their star player.

"Mutu is an extraordinary player for us, but we know that we also have interesting figures like Osvaldo," said Prandelli.

Osvaldo cannot help but be satisfied with his Serie A debut, as he scored a brace including a fantastic volley.

"I am very happy with the team's win and my goals. I really could not have asked for more," said the Argentine youngster. "I will try to prove that those who put their faith in me were not wrong. In any case, I still have a lot to learn."
