Fiorentina coach Cesare Prandelli is being linked with Liverpool.

With manager Rafa Benitez on the brink of a move to Juventus, the Daily Express says Prandelli could arrive at Liverpool as the Spaniard's replacement.

Prandelli is still to commit to a new contract offered by Fiorentina some weeks ago.

There was speculation in Florence during Fiorentina's Champions League games against Liverpool that the club's owners, Tom Hicks and George Gillett, made enquiries about Prandelli's availability.
