Fiorentina coach Prandelli dedicates win to Della Valle

Fiorentina coach Cesare Prandelli paid tribute to former president Andrea Della Valle after their 1-0 win over Livorno.

"We heard from him before the game and know he is going through a tricky time, but he has not abandoned us and will return soon," said Prandelli.

"It was a good game in a difficult arena, as when you face these very aggressive sides it is always a hard task, but we answered them blow for blow.

"They weren't pushing as much on the wings in the second half, so it went well for us."

Stevan Jovetic came off the bench to convert the winning penalty, confirming his fine form, although Adrian Mutu is yet to find his feet.

"Jovetic behaves well and has a long road ahead of him. I saw Mutu in decent shape, he was eager to run and work for the team. We need to get him back to 100 per cent fitness, then we can field both of them together."
