Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Montella says his new contract agreement will be a "formality".

Montella still has over 12 months to run on his current deal.

"My contract? I am very comfortable with the team," he told Rai Sport. "I am flattered [to be linked with other teams] and as yet we have not talked about a renewal.

"I think it's a formality though. There is no hurry, we just have to overcome the small things."
