Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella denies he's in a running feud with Inter Milan rival Walter Mazzarri.
The pair have exchanged barbs over Inter's wage bill.
But Montella argues: "Media need to report the whole story and not just bits. I had spoken about the fact Mazzarri has achieved the best results in the last 10 years, just like Inter did as a club, so with the wages on top that would make them seem Scudetto contenders.
"It was a compliment towards him and his team, but Mazzarri took it as an insult. I hope we can clear the air. He has my phone number."
