Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella was delighted with victory over Catania.

The Viola claimed their first victory of the season thanks to first half goals from Giuseppe Rossi and David Pizarro.

"I thought we were absolutely terrific," he told reporters. "Gomez and Rossi really complimented each other well and can only grow as a pair."
