Fiorentina patron Diego Della Valle has mocked the management ability of Juventus supremo John Elkann.

Della Valle has scoffed at Elkann's influence on Juve's success.

"Having a particular surname does not mean you have the strength to do great things," the 59-year-old told La7 this week.

"We need to acknowledge all the guys who can do good but who cannot find work at the moment.

"John is anything but a phenomenon, yet he has a job and a certain importance.

"He is just a kid and he does not understand that the world has changed."
