Fiorentina sports chief Pantaleo Corvino is expected to fly to Brazil this week for transfer talks.
Corvino is seeking a new centre-half signing and is eyeing Sao Paulo defender Alex Silva, who is also interesting AC Milan and currently is in Beijing with Brazil's Olympics squad.
