Fiorentina sports chief Pantaleo Corvino has backed coach Cesare Prandelli's furious reaction to their defeat to Lazio this week.

Corvino said: "Those who want to be part-timers cannot be part of Fiorentina, Prandelli said deliberately provocative things to make sure everyone here were aware of their responsibilities.

"However, knowing the squad and what it can still be, they will react positively."
