Fiorentina are ready to bring Lele Oriali back to football.

The former Inter Milan chief is set to take charge of all football matters at Fiorentina after holding positive talks with president Andrea Della Valle.

Oriali had been linked with a return to Inter, but now appears set to succeed the departing Pantaleo Corvino at Fiorentina.

Giovanni Sartori will take charge of all transfer market operations, working closely with Oriali and also Eduardo Macia, who will move from being head of international scouting to having a more active role in signing players.
