Fiorentina coach Sinisa Mihajlovic says Adrian Mutu starts again with a clean slate.

The Romanian striker has been welcomed back into the squad after president Andrea Della Valle ended his differences with the player.

"Mutu starts from scratch," said Mihajlovic. "He needs to win back our faith with action, not just words. He has to do the same with his teammates.

"Yesterday he had his first training session with us and did well. He seemed motivated, so I'll put him on the bench.

"Everyone has to stop talking and prove themselves. The same goes for Riccardo Montolivo, who won't become a leader with words, but with action on the field. If he always shows that grit, determination and effort, then it's easier to become a leader."
