Fiorentina boss Mihajlovic accepts Udinese defeat

Fiorentina coach Sinisa Mihajlovic admits Udinese deserved their victory.

Mihajlovic feels Fiorentina "gave away two goals," but admits Udinese deserved all three points.

"We gave away two goals. In the space of 90 seconds we handed them the ball continually and they punished us," he said of the 2-1 defeat.

"Having said that, it is the right result. I tried to risk a few things with Khouma Babacar and we did react after the goal, but in general I have to reiterate that Udinese deserved the success.

"With their two small and rapid strikers, they put us under a lot of pressure. As for Pablo Armero's goal, I think Vlada Avramov only saw it at the last second."

A Mario Alberto Santana strike had given Fiorentina the half-time lead at the Stadio Friuli.

"I don't believe the fact we haven't won on our travels in a long time is affecting our mentality when we're outside the Stadio Franchi," insisted Mihajlovic.
