Stevan Jovetic has explained why he's decided to stay with Fiorentina.

He told Vijesti in Montenegro why he turned down proposals from the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City, Juventus and Inter this summer.

"I could've left Fiorentina, as I had some big offers, but I decided to remain in Florence. The President promised to make big signings so we'd challenge for Champions League qualification very soon.

"Our objective this season is to finish in the top three, so reaching the Champions League.

"Will I go to a big club in the future? For now I'm not thinking about it, but if it's going to happen, then it will.

"If I leave Florence, then I'd like to stay in Italy, as I am happy here. Of course the Ballon d'Or would be a dream, but there is so much competition."
