Fiorentina ace Jovetic: Prandelli must stay

Stevan Jovetic says Fiorentina coach Cesare Prandelli must stay.

On a day of drama at Fiorentina, Prandelli declared through the club's website that he would not be leaving his job, while president Diego Della Valle announced he would be stepping down.

Asked for a reaction, striker Jovetic said: "Prandelli is staying? He is important to us."

The players were reluctant to comment as they left training yesterday, though Lorenzo De Silvestri added: "We are calmer now. We must focus on playing."
