Fiorentina striker Stevan Jovetic admits he's always been wrote off during his young career.

Jovetic says in Serbia he was given little chance of making it as a footballer.

"I went to Serbia and was told to leave this dream behind, but I had it in my head to become a professional football player," he told Sport Week.

"I stayed in Belgrade for four years and left as captain of Partizan."

He added: "I still need to improve and become more clinical in front of goal, as too often I'll look for the pass or keep dribbling rather than just shoot."
