Fiorentina ace Jovetic: People always writing me off
Fiorentina striker Stevan Jovetic admits he's always been wrote off during his young career.
Jovetic says in Serbia he was given little chance of making it as a footballer.
“I went to Serbia and was told to leave this dream behind, but I had it in my head to become a professional football player,” he told Sport Week.
“I stayed in Belgrade for four years and left as captain of Partizan.”
He added: “I still need to improve and become more clinical in front of goal, as too often I’ll look for the pass or keep dribbling rather than just shoot.”
