Portsmouth fullback Steve Finnan says the players are happy to hear they will be paid today.

After victory over Wolves, Finnan said: "I've just heard they (the wages) are coming in on Monday.

"It is not nice but the lads have got on with it and against Wolves showed their spirit just to get on with their jobs.

"It is one of those things that doesn't happen too much to clubs. It is has not happened to me before.

"Everyone has got their views on it. Some were disappointed. Some were thinking it will be coming eventually.

"We are only human. Everyone has got their different opinion and everyone wants their money coming in."
