Emmanuel Adebayor has been given the ringing endorsement of being described as a "physical marvel" by Real Madrid's chief of medical services after the Manchester City player passed his medical ahead of a loan move to the Spanish capital. After undertaking tests on the Togo striker, Carlos Diez told the club's official website: "He is a physical marvel. He is in very good physical condition and will be able to immediately be incorporated into the team."
Madrid will sign Adebayor on loan with an option to buy the 26-year-old in the summer.
He was initially a massive hit at City following his £25million move north from Arsenal 18 months ago, but after Roberto Mancini arrived along with other big name signings the former Gunner slipped down the pecking order and began a campaign of complaining about his lot at City.
