USA international Robbie Findley is set to depart MLS club Real Salt Lake. The 25-year old striker is keen to make a move overseas and has told the club he will not be back in 2011.
Findley will not be protected for Wednesday's Expansion Draft, meaning he can be picked up by another MLS club, but reports suggest he is keen to move over to Europe to pursue his career there.
RSL general manager Garth Lagerwey thanked Findley for his contribution to the club, where he scored 29 goals in 96 MLS appearances.
"We respect his decision and thank him for his immensely valuable contributions to RSL, as we could not have won a championship (2009) without him," Lagerwey said.
