FINAL WHISTLE: Wigan 0-6 Chelsea

Chelsea have produced another demolition job to smash Wigan 6-0 at DW Stadium.

The Blues followed up their opening day thrashing of West Brom with the same scoreline although this time it was Nicolas Anelka doing the damage as Didier Drogba stepped aside.

The Frenchman netted twice, as did Salomon Kalou with Florent Malouda and Yossi Benayoun stepping in, the latter scoring his first goal for his new club.
