FINAL WHISTLE: Villa 1-1 Bolton

Bolton grabbed a vital away point against Aston Villa on Saturday.

Villa winger Ashley Young gave his side the lead with a superb curling free-kick in the 13th minute before Trotters skipper Kevin Davies levelled with a 20-yard cracker just after the half-hour mark.

It was Villa caretaker coach Kevin MacDonald's final game in charge of the club but he saw them drop to seventh on the table whilst Bolton remained in 12th.
