Figo to take on new Inter Milan role after retirement

Luis Figo has revealed he could be handed a role with Inter Milan's football staff when he retires at the end of next season.

The Portuguese veteran said: "Now my aim is to play, then I hope to be able to give a hand with my job and my experience. I have spoken with president [Massimo] Moratti about this and the role has been defined: as an idea it would involve working with Uefa and Fifa on Inter's behalf.

"A big responsibility, which appeals to me."
