Luis Figo has welcomed the prospect of Jose Mourinho being named new Inter Milan coach.

"Everybody knows about Mourinho's contract," said Figo in an interview with Portuguese newspaper O Jogo. "I have already been informed of it by Inter.

"He can win the Champions League with this team and I would like to be a part of it, even if I still have not spoken to him about it."

Figo has been linked with a move away from San Siro, but that may change now Mancini has left.

"I don't know where I will play next year," Figo admitted. "My contract expires in May and I want to play for another year."
