FIGC president Giancarlo Abete has urged Antonio Cassano to focus on his health and not returning to action for AC Milan or Italy.
Abete visited the Policlinico in Milan today and was asked whether Cassano could recover in time for Euro 2012.
"His health is the most important thing, the rest is secondary," replied the Federation chief.
"What really matter is that Cassano heals and gets back to full health. I brought him a hug from the entire Nazionale and Federation.
"Antonio is in good hands and he seemed to be in good spirits."
