FIGC vice-president Demetrio Albertini insists Serie A remains strong, despite the departure of Kaka and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Spain.

He said: "Barcelona are still the team to beat in Europe.

"But Inter Milan, for their part, has signed Samuel Eto'o, one of the biggest centre-forwards in the game. The Italian league has not lost anything."
