Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers suggests fifth spot on the Premier League table is about right for his side.
The Reds drew 1-1 with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday to drop six points behind fourth-placed Manchester United, ending any hope of a Champions League place.
Liverpool are also four points clear of sixth-placed Tottenham and their current standing of fifth is on the mark according to their boss who is keen to reinforce in the summer.
"We sit in fifth place and that's probably where we're at. If we want to make the next steps, we need to find some acquisitions in the summer to help us do that," he said.
"The players that I've worked with have been brilliant, given everything. Like today, we've been very unfortunate."
