FIFA will cover the wages of Everton star Seamus Coleman whilst he recovers from his injury hell.

The Everton star had successful surgery on Saturday and now faces a painful rehabilitation to get back to full fitness.

And Fifa's club protection programme means they will pay the player's wages, thought to be around £50,000-a-week, until he fully recovers, says The Sun.

Everton have been keeping in close contract with doctors in Dublin and sent their own physiotherapist to check on his progress.
