FIFA have rejected an appeal from Barcelona to have Luis Suarez's World Cup biting ban reduced.
FIFA' disciplinary committee has upheld the ban for a further eight matches that Uruguay's Suárez still has to serve of the nine-match ban he was handed for biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini.
The first game of Barça's newest recruit, Luis Suárez's suspension was the World Cup game between Uruguay and Colombia and he is still banned from "all football-related activities" for four months.
