FIFA vice-president Eugenio Figueredo says there's a chance of cutting the ban of Barcelona striker Luis Suarez.
The Uruguayan football executive has hinted at the possibility of reopening the case into Barcelona striker Luis Suárez's suspension for his bite on Giorgio Chiellini at the 2014 World Cup.
"When a little more time has passed we are going to look at how, politically, this punishment can be softened a little," Figueredo told Uruguayan television channel Canal 12.
"The fact that his ban wasn't initially reduced on appeal means that it was based on very solid foundations, which were impenetrable from all angles."
