FIFA president Sepp Blatter says all is well in the world in football despite bribery accusations enveloping the sport's governing body. Yesterday, a FIFA ethics committee suspended Asian Football Confederation chief Mohamed Bin Hammam and FIFA vice-president Jack Warner after it was claimed that they have been trying to win votes ahead of this week's presidency election.
But Blatter says that things are well in the football world although there are some difficulties being experienced.
"Football is not in a crisis," he told Sky Sports News.
"Football is in some difficulties and they will be solved inside our family."
Blatter also said that a report suggesting that the bids for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups were rigged were simply untrue.
"We can confirm there are no elements in this report which would even report any proceedings but for the sake of transparency we will agree a comprehensive summary of this report," he added.
