The chairman of the Royal Dutch Football Association is set to go up against Sepp Blatter for the FIFA presidency.
The Dutch FA has released a statement confirming that Michael van Praag has put his name forward to succeed Blatter in the hotseat at world football's governing body.
"Michael van Praag is a candidate to succeed Sepp Blatter as president of FIFA," read the statement.
"On Tuesday, Praag sends his official candidacy with the required five letters from associations who support his candidacy to FIFA headquarters in Zurich."
Former Ajax chief van Praag will become the fifth person to challenge Blatter for his role, joining Frenchman Jerome Champagne, Jordan's Prince Ali Bin al Hussein, ex-Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham star David Ginola and Mino Raiola.
