FIFA have banned Chelsea defender Slobodan Rajkovic from playing for a year.

After being sent off in the Olympic match with Argentina he was accused of spitting at referee Abdullah Al Hilali and Fifa have come down hard on the youngster.

"If this decision is ratified then Rajkovic's right to work will be disturbed," said a Serbian FA spokesman. "He made a mistake but the punishment is too harsh."
