FFF sending France players home ECONOMY CLASS!

France are set to fly their players home in ECONOMY CLASS after a disastrous World Cup campaign.

The Daily Mail says the French Football Federation is prepared to fly the players home from South Africa in economy seats.

It is understood that the FFF chose to humiliate their players after their disastrous tournament came to an end with a 2-1 defeat to host nation South Africa yesterday.

With Domenech to be succeeded by Laurent Blanc, French football now faces a new dawn but the fallout from a fortnight that saw striker Nicolas Anelka sent home and his team-mates refuse to train looks set to last.

Jean-Pierre Escalettes, president of the FFF, said the debacle had destroyed "50 years of values". He said there will be a meeting in early July to discuss what went wrong.

"Everyone will go before the council, the president, the players, the coach, to see who is responsible. There will probably be sanctions."
