French Football Federation president Fernando Duchaussoy expects talks with Gerard Houllier tomorrow about Aston Villa's offer.
Houllier, who is currently the national technical director of French football, is expected to take the Villa Park post vacated by Martin O'Neill in the summer.
"I will meet Wednesday to take stock of the situation with him (Houllier), I'll ask him," said Duchaussoy.
"I would like to continue working with him."
