The French Football Federation have jumped to the support of Zinedine Zidane over his three month coaching ban.
The Real Madrid Castilla boss has been suspended by the Spanish Federation, despite gaining qualifications with the FFF.
"The FFF provides support for Zidane following the decision of the Spanish Football Federation to punish him for not having the necessary coaching qualification," a French statement read.
According to the FFF, the three-month sentence imposed on Zizou is also a "decision to punish the French training course" for coaches.
It also said that "UEFA regulations allow a coach that has taken this to ply their trade."
