FFA reveal Australian coaches in frame for national team vacancy

Football Federation Australia chairman Frank Lowy has revealed how home grown talent is on the Socceroos shortlist. "Our preference is clearly for an Australian coach. Three names are being talked about and it's not wrong that we have three possible Australian candidates.''

Australia are seeking a replacement for Holger Osieck, sacked after Friday's 6-0 friendly defeat.

Melbourne Victory coach Ange Postecoglou and former Socceroos assistant coach Graham Arnold are considered to be the front-runners, with a decision expected within two weeks.
