Feyenoord have tabled a contract offer to Liverpool attacker Dirk Kuyt.

Voetbal International says Feyenoord have tabled a long-term contract offer to the Dutchman.

The club's football chief, Martin van Geel, said: "I will not confirm nor deny that the offer has been made.

"I stand by my first comment that Kuyt sooner rather than later is welcome at Feyenoord, but that it will be a very difficult story to complete."
