Feyenoord chief Martin van Geel has confirmed hopes of signing Arsenal winger Ryo Miyaichi and Liverpool's Oussama Assaidi.

Feyenoord are in loan talks with both Premier League clubs.

"It is clear that we are interested," said Van Geel.

"But if we're to have a serious chance of success with Ryo Miyaichi, then probably it will be long into August.

"The same applies for Assaidi. And then also Arsenal and Liverpool must still be willing to work with us."
