A move to Feyenoord is back on for Watford midfielder Steven Berghuis.

The Watford Observer says the Netherlands international was not part of the Hornets' squad in Saturday's 2-0 defeat to QPR and is reportedly in Feyenoord finalising his move.

Berghuis does not fit into new head coach Walter Mazzarri's plans and the Italian's preference for a 3-5-2 formation has left the winger with little chance of breaking into the side.

Berghuis made his international debut at the end of last season and the former AZ Alkmaar attacker's hopes of featuring regularly for the Netherlands will be boosted by the prospect of first-team football at Feyenoord.
