Aston Villa are closing a deal for Feyenoord midfielder Karim El Ahmadi.

Voetbal International says Villa have had a €2.8 million offer for El Ahmadi accepted by Feyenoord.

El Ahmadi is now in Birmingham for a Villa medical today.

"I'm 27, which is an age when you still are looking for a new challenge. For me, the Premier League is the best league in the world. I did not have to think about it long," he said.
