Feyenoord chief Martin van Geel has admitted interest in Manchester City striker Luca Scapuzzi.

The two clubs enjoy a close relationship.

Van Geel met City officials this week to discuss players possibly moving to Holland next season and he took in the reserves' clash with Belgian side KV Mechelen.

Former AC Milan forward Scapuzzi scored twice in the game, but Van Geel has ruled out a move for the player.

"I have seen some quite interesting players," added Van Geel. "I didn't watch the game especially for him [Scapuzzi]. He is not on our list and won't play in De Kuip next season."
