Feyenoord insist there's been no approach from Newcastle United for Georginio Wijnaldum.
Wijnaldum has been watched by Toon chief scout Graham Carr in recent weeks.
"We know nothing of the interest of Newcastle United in Wijnaldum, '" said Feyenoord spokesman Raymond Solomon.
"If they have contacted the agent, then we wouldn't know. We will wait patiently to hear from them directly."
The youngster's agent, Humphrey Nijman said: "We want peace around Georginio. Not for nothing have I said before that we will wait until after this season to sit around the table with Feyenoord."
