Feyenoord forced to hire own security for Man Utd trip

Feyenoord have hired their own security ahead of their trip to Europa League opponents Manchester United.

The Dutch giants expect around 7,000 loyal fans to make the trip to England for the Europa League clash.

And club chiefs are taking no chances after footage emerged of a brutal fight between Feyenoord and Nancy hooligans last week.

The Daily Mail says 25 spotters and stewards will travel from the Netherlands to mix with away supporters and ensure there's no trouble in the stands.

Gold Card members will be forced to wear red armbands to get near the Theatre of Dreams and Dutch police chief Frank Pauw hopes the Feyenoord faithful behave themselves.
