Feyenoord chief Martin Van Geel has revealed they've rejected an Italian offer for Stefan de Vrij.
De Vrij is a major target for Lazio.
"Lately there has been a lot of confusion in the media," Van Geel told their official website.
"We regret these rumours as some fans have been restless. An Italian club has made an offer, which we considered inappropriate.
"After that, despite the rumours, there has been no further contact. We don't want to sell, but we're aware that some players may want to leave."
