Feyenoord chief Martin van Geel has rejected the chance to sign a Manchester City midfielder.
After the success of striker John Guidetti on-loan so far this season, City offered Van Geel an unnamed midfielder in a similar arrangement, but the proposal was rejected.
"It wasn't going to work for us," admitted Van Geel.
"But it shows how happy City are with us (and Guidetti)."
