Feyenoord chief Martin van Geel has ruled out re-signing Manchester City striker John Guidetti.
The Swede has been linked with a return to Rotterdam this summer.
But Van Geel explained: "We have thoroughly researched Guidetti's medical records. We have not been convinced about the security of his return.
"The risk is too great, especially given his high price tag.
"We simply do not dare. I think it's a shame, because based on his history here, he definitely deserved a second chance."
