Feyenoord chief Martin van Geel remains keen on Manchester City striker John Guidetti.
Van Geel is in the market for a new striker, having lost Graziano Pelle to Southampton, and Guidetti is among the options being considered.
Guidetti is also on the radar of Ajax, though would favour a return to Rotterdam after enjoying the best season of his career with Feyenoord two years ago.
Interestingly, Southampton boss Ronald Koeman is also interested in the City forward, who spent last season on-loan at Stoke City.
Should it become a shootout between Saints and Feyenoord, Koeman may step aside, having already expressed concern over the number of players who have left his old squad this summer.
