Feyenoord chief Martin van Geel has admitted they'd welcome back Manchester City striker John Guidetti.

The Swede enjoyed a stellar 12 months on-loan at Feyenoord two seasons ago.

"Guidetti is currently with Manchester City in South Africa. We are looking for a different kind of striker. But Guidetti is in our hearts and the door to the De Kuip is always open to him," Van Geel told AD.

"He knows that.

"But I would like to say clearly that there has been no concrete efforts to get him back."
